Do all rows of lights work or only 2

They all work. But, you will only see two rows of red light. The others that appear off are actually on. These are the infrared lights. They are not visible to the human eye.

Can it be used with an extension cord?

Yes. You don’t need anything heavy. LEDs do not use much current, so a simply household extension will be fine.

Is this considered to be low intensity laser therapy system?

No, laser is different.

Is this supposed to be used directly on the bare skin or will it work over clothing?

It goes on bare skin. You will not have the results you want through clothing.

Can this be used for neuropathy?

Are these far infrared or near infrared rays?

Near Infrared Rays (800 to 1000nm). The sun emits 37% of its total energy in the near infrared range. By contrast, on 3% is in the far infrared range. Much like sunlight is needed to produce vitamin D, we are equally biologically hardwired to use near infrared. In fact, it is now understood that the human body is partially photosynthetic. In other words, we NEED sun light AND near infrared for optimal health.

What is the wave length of the infra red? What is the wattage of the device?

Power 9 Watts, 12 volts.
Wave lengths: infrared LED 880nm, red LED 660nm.

What is the energy output for this system (in joules/cm2)?

The FlexPad has 25 Joules per cm2.

What is the length of this belt

The pad itself is 10″ long and there are 2 straps that are 20″ each.

Does the device require any setup out of the box?

Plug it into the wall outlet and place on the area of pain – red light will come on. Plug & Play.

You know what I like about you guys? You always send your previous customers special offers on new products. Really good service.

  2. Donald

I am in the gym 5 times a week and sometimes even more doing power lifts. Sometimes I overdo it and then this Belt brings immediate relief. Especially my back pain reduces.

  3. Lilbit in Canada

This was bought for knee and foot arthritis. I have recently read that the health of the mitochondria in your cartilage is important to prolong that cartilage health. Mitochondria are supported and energized by near infrared light.
It does help with pain temporarily – my understanding is that the pain levels are reduced for longer periods of time as the flexpad is used more frequently.
There is increasing evidence that this type of light is very beneficial. This product is easy to use – comes with two velcro straps to keep it wrapped around knees or feet.

  4. Steve m

    Liked the pain relief
I first experienced this technology at physical therapy while rehabbing knee surgery, and liked the pain relief. I got this unit for foot surgery (I’m old, not clumsy) and found the same relief. I like the extension straps, as my husband could use it on his lower back. My only suggestion is that “more is NOT more.” I used it twice as long one time on my foot, thinking it would help twice as much – no such luck.

My wrist pain got remarkebly better since. Thank you Aduro!

  6. Carl

Not even an extension cord is provided. Very unhappy.

  7. Doug Palmer

This product is nothing short of a miracle! I have advanced arthritis in my left knee that has kept me in pain and with restricted mobility. This red light wrap works great to treat the top of my knee and then reverse behind my knee. The result is the pain is reduced to hardly noticeable and knee function almost back to normal! Love it, love it!

  8. Apprehensive Consumer

I would have given this product 4 stars right away if it had come with a regular power cord instead of a SHORT USB cord with converter.

  9. Mary Brown (Bought on Amazon)

Neurologist recommended Anodyne light therapy for non-diabetic peripheral neuropathy in my legs but the cost of the treatments was high and the home version of that product was close to $1000. The FlexPad has similar infrared strength that’s in the range that should help with circulation and was much less expensive. I was worried that it would take a lot longer to use it doing each leg separately but found that I could lay it on the floor and put both feet on it for a single treatment. I’ve also wrapped it around an arthritic knee and sore back. Got the most direct pain relief on the back and knee. I get some relief in my feet but it will take longer for the increased circulation to help the nerves in my feet. Well worth the price and the time it takes.
